Filming location of the interstellar wilderness survival reality show.
“I will say this one last time: this show is a wilderness survival program. The setting is a chain of islands replicating the ancient Earth environment, full of dangers and fierce beasts. We cannot guarantee absolute safety for our participants.”
“In this place, all technology is strictly forbidden. You may only bring the most basic clothing made from ancient fabrics onto the island.”
“You have one last chance to leave now. If you withdraw at this point, there will be no penalty. But if you quit after landing on the island, the penalty will be one thousand times your contract fee. In other words, if you want to back out later, you’ll have to pay a hundred billion in liquidated damages.”
[With such a steep penalty, will Shi Nianqing really take part?]
[She’s such a useless fake damsel in distress—she’ll only hold everyone back!]
[This is ancient Earth, not our advanced interstellar age. Shi Nianqing, can you even handle it?!]
Shi Nianqing opened her eyes, looking around in confusion.
Wasn’t she dead? How had she ended up here?
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through her mind, and a memory not her own flooded her thoughts.
She realized she had transmigrated—into an interstellar romance novel she’d read during the apocalypse.
The story centered on the real heiress of a powerful family who, after being found, became the treasured darling of her relatives.
Unfortunately, Shi Nianqing was the fake, white-lotus heiress—the one who had lived in luxury, enjoying the life of a true socialite since childhood.
Until the real heiress returned...
Fortunately, thanks to the original’s white-lotus persona, she was still allowed to stay with the wealthy family. But as her malicious nature became apparent, she made mistake after mistake, and was eventually cast out.
Right now, it was the part where the original host, infatuated with the male lead, had followed him and the female lead to participate in this interstellar wilderness survival reality show.
Though she often played the pitiful damsel, crying every day to gain the favor of the Shi family’s parents, the female lead’s fans saw through her act immediately.
“Director, I want to withdraw—”
Having grasped the plot, Shi Nianqing didn't hesitate to speak up and try to quit.
But before she could finish, a cold, mechanical voice interrupted her.
[Welcome, Host. You have bound the Wilderness Survival System. Complete tasks to earn points. Points can be used in the store to exchange for goods from all worlds.]
[First mission: Participate in the Ancient Earth Wilderness Survival Reality Show and win first place.]
Shi Nianqing fell silent. She’d struggled so long in the apocalypse without a single system coming to her aid—damn!
The director looked at her with an odd expression. “Shi Nianqing, you want to quit—”
Before he could finish, Shi Nianqing cut him off, “Director, on second thought, can’t we just start right now?”
The director rolled his eyes at her, thinking she was about to back out at the last minute.

Shi Nianqing stood quietly to the side, as if she hadn’t just loudly declared her wish to withdraw.
Nearby, a handsome young man glanced at her disdainfully, as though he were looking at something worthless.
Shi Nianqing’s mind instantly supplied his information.
This was the male lead, Xiao Yu—the very man the original host had loved so desperately.
She gave him a once-over. He wasn’t even that attractive. Why had the original host pined for him so hopelessly?
Perhaps, she thought, it was simply the allure of the unattainable.
Maybe she’d stared too long, because a striking girl with proud eyes and bold features quickly stepped in front of Xiao Yu, blocking Shi Nianqing’s view.
Ah, that must be none other than the real heiress—the female lead, Shi Youyou.
Both leads were here.
With the tension between them growing thicker, the director moved to the center.
“Since no one wishes to withdraw, the wilderness survival recording will now begin. The live broadcast will resume once we arrive on Planet 001, the copy of ancient Earth.”
At his words, the crowd fell silent, everyone listening closely.
After speaking, the director and crew began adjusting the survival pods. The participants would enter the pods and await teleportation to Planet 001.
While waiting, Shi Nianqing examined the system that had appeared in her mind.
It seemed surprisingly intelligent. Closing her eyes, she could see a blue screen, with only two options: Missions and Store.
She opened the Missions tab, where a list of tasks appeared.
[Main Mission: Participate in the Ancient Earth Wilderness Survival Reality Show and gain popularity!
Side Mission: Find food and water!
Side Mission: Start a fire!
…]
All the tasks were basic wilderness survival goals. Shi Nianqing didn’t dwell on them, but instead clicked on the Store.
The store wasn’t filled with fancy items. Most offerings were survival skills.
At the top were hunting, animal taming, trap-making...
But what made her eyes widen was a bright red redemption marker.
[Zombie Serum! Redemption value: One billion points.]

Below, the description was clear: Zombie Serum—can gradually restore zombies to normal.
That brief introduction was enough to utterly captivate Shi Nianqing.
She came from the apocalypse, a time when humanity teetered on the brink of extinction.
Humans had tried every conceivable method, yet a cure for zombies had never been found. And here, in this so-called system’s store, it existed!
What she’d thought would be a casual game suddenly became serious business for Shi Nianqing.
Her eyes reddened, and she stared ahead, oblivious to everything else.
Viewers in the live stream couldn’t see the system interface; all they saw were Shi Nianqing’s red, glistening eyes. The barrage of abusive comments instantly surged.
[What’s wrong with this fake white lotus? Putting on an act again.]
[Tsk tsk, does she really think this makes her look pitiful?]
[Here she goes again—so disgusting. When will Shi Nianqing finally get out of showbiz?]
[Unbelievable...]
On and on, pure malice. The director, who could see the comments, was startled by the onslaught.
They’d chosen these guests for their popularity, but this level of blatant hostility was still shocking.
Glancing at Shi Nianqing, his face betrayed a hint of sympathy.
But there was no time for sympathy; it was time for teleportation.
Everyone entered their survival pods.
Shi Nianqing, still dazed, found herself lying inside.
Inside, she was filled with anticipation for the upcoming survival challenge.
The ten-billion-point reward in the store gave her fresh determination.
She closed her eyes and lost all sense of her surroundings.
When she awoke, she and more than twenty others found themselves scattered across different locations on Planet 001.
When Shi Nianqing opened her eyes, she saw an endless expanse of ocean—and beneath her, a rickety wooden raft teetering on the verge of collapse, threatening to drop her into the sea at any moment.
