Because of Xiao Yueqing’s shout, the viewers in the livestream began to notice the unusual situation unfolding on site.
“Fate really is cruel. Our Qingqing just came to record a song and ran into Su Biao—no matter where she goes, trouble follows.”
“Can you believe it? Su Nianxi is truly venomous. I used to think she was just a bit capricious, but turns out she’s a two-faced viper with a heart of poison.”
“Ugh, bullying an amateur like this? The sound engineer has worked diligently all her life, and she ends up crossing paths with this stinker Su Nianxi—what a streak of bad luck.”
“Someone call an ambulance! The sound engineer has fainted; Su Biao is definitely going to jail.”
“From quitting the industry to incarceration, one-stop service—support that! I’ve never seen anyone attack a colleague like this. Who’s protecting such a morally corrupt person?”

The barrage of comments updated rapidly, and Xiao Yueqing watched helplessly as the number of viewers in the livestream surged to fifty thousand.

Su Nianxi had no time for Xiao’s theatrics. She quickly checked on the sound engineer, then looked up toward the trembling staff member by the door holding a phone. “Where’s the ambulance?”

“It’s... it’s stuck in traffic. They said it’ll take about ten minutes to arrive,” the young woman stammered.

Ten minutes would be too late.

Su Nianxi frowned. The sound engineer was experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Though the cause was unclear, emergency measures had to be taken immediately.

Without hesitation, she instructed several nearby staff to help position the engineer properly, then placed her hands one over the other and began pressing down on his chest rhythmically.

Xiao Yueqing covered her mouth in shock and shouted, “Su Nianxi, do you even know CPR? This is a matter of life and death—don’t mess it up!”

“Yeah, I heard you need special training to perform CPR. Teacher Su, have you been trained?” other studio staff echoed Xiao’s objections softly.

Su Nianxi ignored them, continuing the emergency compressions while watching for any response from the engineer.

Only when she saw his breathing return to normal did she finally breathe a sigh of relief and gently wiped the sweat from her forehead.

“Xiao Qu, do you have the first aid kit?” Su Nianxi asked, tilting her head toward Xiao Qu.

“Yes, I’ve already found it.” Right after the incident, Xiao Qu had rummaged through her backpack and pulled out the first aid kit.

Su Nianxi took the kit from her and dug out a small dark green bottle.

“What are you doing? What medicine are you giving him?” Xiao Yueqing screamed in alarm.

Meanwhile, the unaware fans in the livestream began to riot with accusations.

“Is Su Nianxi trying to kill him? What is she doing? Knocking him out and feeding him random medicine—what’s wrong with her?”
“I don’t want to judge, but shouldn’t professional matters be left to professionals? What if she gives the wrong medicine and something happens? Can she take responsibility?”
“She pushed him earlier, now she’s pretending to save him? Does a mere 208 really know how to perform CPR? Don’t mess this up.”

“Heh, now that this livestream is out, Su Nianxi’s career is finished tomorrow. Seriously crazy—our Qingqing didn’t even provoke her, and now she’s attacking our sound engineer. Ridiculous.”
“Thank goodness Qingqing went live today, or this huge incident might have been swept under the rug by Su Biao. Disgusting.”

“Shut up.”

Xiao Yueqing wanted to continue her act, but Su Nianxi was no longer in the mood to entertain her.

Rarely losing her composure, Su Nianxi’s cold, steely gaze swept over Xiao Yueqing, freezing her in place.

After administering the medicine and seeing the sound engineer cough twice and slowly regain consciousness, Su Nianxi waited a moment.

“He’s awake!” Several staff hurried over, supporting him as he sat up.

“What just happened to me...” The engineer’s voice was hoarse; he still hadn’t fully realized what had occurred.

“Brother Li, you suddenly passed out just now. It was... Teacher Su who performed emergency aid on you,” a young woman lowered her head and glanced apologetically at Su Nianxi.

“Oh, thank you, thank you so much,” the engineer immediately tried to stand and thank Su Nianxi but was stopped by the young woman.

“You just woke up—don’t move too much,” Su Nianxi said.

“Okay, okay.” The engineer nodded repeatedly. “I’ve had heart disease for a long time but never expected an acute attack now. Thank goodness for you.”

“Brother Li, you’re just pushing yourself too hard. You stayed up all night mixing this morning; no wonder something happened,” another staff member remarked.

While they spoke, the ambulance finally arrived.

After a preliminary examination, the medical staff recommended he be taken to the hospital as a precaution to determine the exact cause of the cardiac arrest.

Before leaving, the doctor removed his stethoscope and earnestly said to Su Nianxi, “Young lady, thanks to your timely emergency aid... otherwise, I’m afraid...”

He didn’t finish the sentence, but everyone understood the implication.

With the medical team gone, the studio returned to quiet.

Su Nianxi raised her eyes slightly and looked at Xiao Yueqing and her group, who were still livestreaming with their phones.

“I started it?” Su Nianxi looked at Xiao Yueqing, tilting her head. “Taking it out on you?”

With those words, she stepped closer to Xiao Yueqing.

Xiao Yueqing stumbled back, her voice sharp: “Su Nianxi, what are you doing? I’m still livestreaming.”

“Then what are you afraid of?” Su Nianxi’s lips curled into a wicked smile.

“You...”

Xiao Yueqing was at a loss for words. The current Su Nianxi was completely different from the indifferent girl she had been moments ago.

“Xiao Qu, pack up the camera.”

Seeing her timid demeanor, Su Nianxi found it dull and turned to her assistant.

Xiao Qu responded with an “Oh,” and reached over to take down the small camera resting on the corner table.

The blinking red light on the camera indicated it was still recording.

Xiao Yueqing noticed Xiao Qu’s action and her heart sank.

Not good.

“You said I was the one who made the first move just now? Fine, let’s see then.” Su Nianxi returned to her casual, cocky attitude as she quickly transferred the video footage from the SD card to her phone.

“What does Su Nianxi mean by this? Could it be Qingqing slandered her after all?”
“Dead duck still insisting she’s right—her true nature is already set in stone.”
“Speechless. She’s doomed. Does she really think there’s a chance for a comeback?”
“Ha, Su Biao, here’s a way to whitewash yourself: just say you were practicing wrestling moves with the sound engineer.”

While the fans in the livestream ranted, Su Nianxi had already posted a clipped video on Weibo.

“Su Nianxi V: Popular actress masters qigong, remotely attacks amateur and knocks him down? [Video.mp4]”

Because of the earlier livestream, a trending topic “#SuNianxiPushesSomeone” had already appeared on Weibo. But as soon as people clicked on her profile, they were hit with this explosive headline.

Xiao Qu’s vlog was crystal clear. Whether viewed from the front or the side, viewers could see Su Nianxi was nowhere near the sound engineer; even at the moment he fell, her gaze was elsewhere.

What kind of push was that?

In an instant, bystanders realized they had been played and began investigating the source of the rumors.

Xiao Yueqing’s assistant hurriedly shut down the livestream and contacted the fan club’s key members, ordering them not to share any clips.

Meanwhile, Xiao Yueqing was sweating profusely. “You... you recorded video too?”

Who in their right mind would film a continuous work video during a recording session?

“You can livestream, why can’t I record video?” Su Nianxi looked bewildered by the question, shaking the camera in her hand and flashing a sly smile. “Look closely—that’s called keeping a record of work.”
