Chapter 28: The Reaction of President Yu Tong
Looking at the collapsed wall, Yang Feng was stunned.
His first reaction was to wonder if the balance in his bank account would be enough to cover the damages. His next reaction was anger, directed at the examiner, Liang Shi. He felt like he had been toyed with; had he known the examiner would dodge, he wouldn’t have put his full strength into the strike.
At that moment, everyone was staring blankly at the wall Yang Feng had destroyed, and no one noticed his fury.
"You told me to use my full strength, so I’m not paying for this!" Yang Feng vented loudly.
Liang Shi snapped out of his daze, feeling a wave of embarrassment. However, he had no regrets, knowing that if he had tried to take that punch head-on, he might have died. He then suddenly realized something.
"Have you reached the pinnacle stage of martial arts mastery?"
"The wall is your responsibility!" Yang Feng insisted stubbornly, ignoring the question.
Liang Shi didn't care about such trifles anymore. "Yes, it’s my responsibility, it’s all my responsibility. Can you answer my question now?"
"That’s right. Crushing Fist, reached the pinnacle of mastery!"
A collective gasp went through the crowd.
The pinnacle of mastery!
If blood-qi levels could be padded with resources, then what the hell was a pinnacle-stage martial art? Martial arts could only be honed through grueling, personal practice. To reach the pinnacle at eighteen? Had they been training since they were in the womb? It was already incredibly difficult to reach the level of pure proficiency, yet this boy had brought a fist technique to the grandmaster level of the pinnacle, directly condensing a "fist intent." Was there anyone in the Federal Government who had achieved this? Everyone began to doubt it.
"Since I don't have to pay for the damages, does that mean I’ve passed the assessment?" Yang Feng asked. He was ready to bolt, fearing that the examiner might change his mind and demand payment.
"You passed. You are now a Tier 2 martial artist!" Liang Shi immediately declared.
To become a Tier 2 martial artist, there was actually one other condition: one must have a Tier 1 martial art at the pinnacle of mastery. The requirement was so harsh that most people had forgotten it existed, but as an examiner, he had to remember.
Yang Feng smiled with satisfaction. He had known about this rule, which was why he hadn't rushed to find a Tier 2 martial art over the past half-month. Now that his goal was achieved, he wanted to leave, but the two examiners wouldn't let him go. Yang Feng had no choice but to wait.

Song City Expressway.
Association President Yu Tong was sitting in the back of a luxury car. Faced with the endless traffic jam ahead, even he, a man of usually calm temperament, began to lose his temper.
"I don't know what the Song City government is doing. I told them to properly plan the traffic to the Martial Artists Association half a year ago, and it’s still like this."
The secretary driving the car explained, "President, please don't let this minor matter spoil your mood. Besides, the Mayor of Song City values your opinion highly. Work has already started, but the project isn't finished yet. Also, today is the 15th, so there are more people heading to the association, which is why it's like this; it's usually fine."
Hearing this, Yu Tong’s mood improved significantly. He had just returned from Zhengfu City. The last time he saw Yang Feng’s impressive performance, it had left him in such a good mood that his long-stagnant cultivation level had started to loosen. He had stayed in Zhengfu City to breakthrough, and as soon as he succeeded, he rushed back, thinking of Yang Feng. Only to run into this traffic jam.
If his colleagues knew that a dignified Martial Artists Association President was being annoyed by a traffic jam, he would never hear the end of it.
"Sigh, I specifically came back from Zhengfu City to watch Yang Feng's assessment in person. With this situation, I might miss it."
"President, there’s nothing to be done about the traffic. You can compensate Yang Feng when you see him later. Or, if you’re really in a hurry, you could just fly there," the secretary suggested.
To his surprise, the suggestion was immediately rejected. Yu Tong said sternly, "Absolutely not. Unless there is a serious incident involving martial artists in the city, I cannot act recklessly, even as the President of the Martial Artists Association. I must lead by example so that others will follow. That is how our society stays stable!"
Hearing his superior's words, the secretary felt a pang of shame, followed by even greater respect. "President, I will keep that in mind and learn from you!"
Yu Tong nodded in satisfaction. Just then, his phone rang. He answered, "What is it? Why are you in such a hurry? Speak slowly!"
"Oh? You found a genius martial artist?" This news didn't surprise him at all; in fact, he would have been worried if he hadn't received this call. "Oh, his name is Yang Feng?"
Yu Tong remained calm, as this was within his expectations.
"You say Yang Feng's blood-qi is 11.6?"
Yu Tong was still calm—wait, no, he wasn't. "What did you say? Yang Feng's blood-qi is 11.6?"
The previously calm Yu Tong stood up abruptly, forgetting he was inside the car, and punched a hole right through the roof! The secretary was stunned, but Yu Tong acted as if nothing had happened.
"What! There's more? He’s also a grandmaster?"
As soon as this news hit, Yu Tong transformed into a streak of light and shot into the sky. Countless people in the traffic jam witnessed this and looked up in awe. The secretary in the car twitched his mouth—so much for leading by example and not using martial arts abilities recklessly?
*Give me back my sense of awe, my dear President.*

Song City Martial Artists Association, second floor.
The security guards had surrounded the examination arena. Suddenly, a streak of light descended from the sky. Everyone knew that to be capable of flight, one had to be at least a Tier 5 powerhouse, and the only person with that strength who would dare to fly so blatantly in the city was the President of the Martial Artists Association.
Yu Tong flew directly through the window, saw Yang Feng, and immediately grabbed his hands.
"Two questions: First, is your blood-qi really 11.6?"
Looking at Yu Tong's expectant gaze, Yang Feng answered truthfully, "Yes, President!"
"Second, have you truly reached the pinnacle of mastery in a martial art?"
"Yes, President!"
"Hahahahaha!" An uncontrollable roar of laughter erupted from Yu Tong, and the aura of a Tier 5 martial artist began to spread uncontrollably. The people nearby turned pale as they faced the pressure of a Tier 5 expert. Luckily, Yu Tong realized what he was doing and immediately restrained his aura.
He noticed that everyone around him, even the Tier 2 and Tier 3 martial artists, had been affected by his pressure, yet Yang Feng, who was standing closest to him, hadn't reacted at all!
He was even more satisfied. *The bearing of a grandmaster! Only someone who has reached the pinnacle of martial arts can be fearless in the face of a powerhouse's pressure!*
The last shred of doubt in his heart vanished. He had thought Yang Feng was a genius and had valued him highly, but now he felt his estimation was nowhere near enough. This wasn't just a genius; this was a monster! To reach such a realm at eighteen—what would the future hold?
"Yang Feng is the miracle of Song City! He is the light of humanity!"

Song City News, as the name implies, was the local news broadcast. Every 15th of the month, reporters would always come to the Martial Artists Association to conduct interviews. The massive commotion inside the association naturally could not be hidden from them.
Before Yu Tong arrived, Yang Feng had already been cornered by reporters. If not for Yu Tong’s sudden arrival, which interrupted the interview, Yang Feng would still be surrounded. Although the interview was cut short, the camera lens had never left Yang Feng.
Consequently, Yu Tong’s evaluation was broadcast live to the public.
