After Wang Gang swallowed the pill, Yang Fan stood guard over him, and he successfully broke through into the Innate Realm.

“How powerful!” Feeling the surging strength within him, Wang Gang was exhilarated, his expression filled with excitement.

At last, he could feel the might of true strength. An urge to vent it surged within him.

“Thank you, Master,” Wang Gang said gratefully as he looked at Yang Fan.

Without Yang Fan, Wang Gang would already have died in the street. He certainly would never have possessed such formidable strength.

“All right. Now that your strength has improved, I need your help with something.” Yang Fan nodded.

“Even if I must brave boiling oil or walk through flames, I will not hesitate,” Wang Gang said firmly.

He held Yang Fan in the utmost respect. Whatever Yang Fan asked him to do, he would undertake it without question.

“Among the martial artists of Yanhuang, is there any organization that serves the nation?” Yang Fan asked.

This time, he was going to rescue someone, but he did not want to face Lu Yuxi.

Since he had to go there, he needed a suitable identity under which to carry out the rescue.

“While I was in the army, I heard of a mysterious organization in Yanhuang called the Hidden Dragon. Its main purpose is to serve the nation.” Wang Gang’s expression revealed his yearning. “Back when I was in the military, people from the Hidden Dragon came to recruit members, but their requirements were so demanding that hardly anyone was selected.”

The Hidden Dragon was Yanhuang’s most mysterious and powerful organization, dedicated exclusively to serving the nation.

As sons of Yanhuang, many men dreamed of joining the Hidden Dragon, but it was no easy task. Its recruitment standards were simply too high.

Yet everyone who knew about the Hidden Dragon understood that once accepted, a person’s status would be transformed, and they would earn the respect of others.

It was a threshold. Once crossed, it was like leaping over the Dragon Gate.

“Come with me somewhere,” Yang Fan said to Wang Gang.

Wang Gang nodded without asking any questions.

Following the address they had been given, Yang Fan took Wang Gang there by car.

To avoid being recognized, he altered his appearance, making himself look like a middle-aged man in his thirties or forties.

Wang Gang had long since grown accustomed to Yang Fan’s abilities.

In his eyes, Yang Fan had become an omnipotent divine being.

Two hours later, Yang Fan and Wang Gang arrived in front of a factory building.

Once they reached the designated location, Yang Fan extended his senses in all directions and detected more than twenty auras nearby.

Three of them were particularly powerful, all belonging to Innate martial artists.

“Three in the Innate Realm. One is at the mid-stage. Nothing to fear.” Yang Fan sneered inwardly.

His cultivation had now reached the late Qi Refining stage. If he unleashed his full power, his strength would rival that of the Transcendent Realm.

Moreover, the arts he practiced were so powerful that the force he could unleash far exceeded that of opponents at the same level.

As for the dozen or so remaining auras, they were all below the Houtian Realm. They had not even crossed the threshold of Qi Refining.

Those people were more than enough for Wang Gang to handle.

Before entering the factory, Yang Fan saw two young men standing guard at the entrance.

When they saw Yang Fan and Wang Gang approaching, the two youths immediately grew wary.

Both were disciples of the Seven Fiends Sect, and faint fluctuations of spiritual energy emanated from their bodies.

“Who are you?” one of the disciples demanded, staring at Yang Fan.

“We’re the people you’re looking for. Lead the way,” Yang Fan replied coldly.

The two men hesitated as they glanced at Yang Fan and Wang Gang, then nodded.

They led the pair inside.

In a large warehouse within the factory, Yang Fan saw Lu Yuxi and Zhang Meng bound to one side.

Three men stood beside them.

Lu Yuxi’s face was somewhat pale. A bandage was wrapped around her forehead, and she had already regained consciousness.

“Where is what I asked for?” Zhou Lizhong stared coldly at Yang Fan, his voice grim.

“I don’t have what you want. We came here on someone else’s orders—to kill all of you,” Yang Fan said indifferently.

He no longer had any spirit stones, so he could not hope to use them to save the captives.

He had come this time for one purpose: to kill every one of these people.

When Zhou Lizhong heard that Yang Fan had no spirit stones, his expression turned cold.

The person who had arrived was not Yang Fan, which left Zhou Lizhong perplexed. He had no idea who these two men were.

Yet the man before him radiated a dangerous aura.

The instinct was powerful—intensely so.

“Yang Fan sent you, didn’t he? Who exactly are you?” Zhou Lizhong asked, fixing his gaze on Yang Fan.

“The Hidden Dragon,” Yang Fan replied calmly.

When Zhou Lizhong and the two elders beside him heard that Yang Fan belonged to the Hidden Dragon, their expressions changed.

As martial artists of Yanhuang, they did not dare provoke members of the Hidden Dragon lightly.

Once the Hidden Dragon set its sights on someone, it meant endless trouble.

“What makes you think I’ll believe that you’re from the Hidden Dragon?” Zhou Lizhong said in a low voice.

“I don’t need you to believe me, because all of you are going to die.” Yang Fan sneered, killing intent filling his voice.

Zhou Lizhong narrowed his eyes, his expression turning grave.

He could not determine the true depths of the two men before him.

“Aren’t you afraid that we’ll kill those two women?” Zhou Lizhong said coldly.

“Do as you please. Saving them was never our true purpose. We came here to wipe out every one of you,” Yang Fan replied icily.

The moment he finished speaking, the aura around him erupted.

A terrifying force swept outward.

Brilliant light burst from his body, illuminating the entire area.

“Leave the others to you. I’ll handle these three.”

With those words, Yang Fan transformed into a streak of white light and shot toward Zhou Lizhong at incredible speed.

When Zhou Lizhong saw the white radiance erupt from Yang Fan, shock filled his heart, followed by a surge of fear.

“Attack together, or we’ll all die!” he immediately shouted to the two elders beside him.

The aura Yang Fan had released was simply too powerful, placing Zhou Lizhong under tremendous pressure.

The two elders of the Seven Fiends Sect did not dare delay. They pushed their strength to its limit and charged toward Yang Fan at the same time.

“Worms.” Yang Fan sneered, intense killing intent flashing in his eyes.

He thrust out one palm, brilliant white light blazing like the descent of the sun, and sent a torrent of overwhelming force crashing toward the three men.

They hurriedly raised their hands to resist, condensing spiritual energy in their palms.

Boom!

The strength of all four men collided, producing a violent impact as powerful waves of force erupted in every direction.

White light flashed, majestic as divine might.

Zhou Lizhong and the two elders were completely unable to withstand Yang Fan’s strike. All three were sent flying, blood spraying from their mouths.

They crashed to the ground, their faces deathly pale.

Like a phantom, Yang Fan appeared before them in an instant. Blinding white light gathered in his palm, carrying savage and terrifying power.

A beam of white light shot forth toward their chests.

The three men hurriedly resisted, but once again their bodies were blasted backward by the overwhelming force. Blood poured from their mouths as their bodies suffered grievous injuries.

The three of them had joined forces, yet they were still utterly incapable of opposing Yang Fan. Zhou Lizhong was shaken to the core.

Yang Fan’s aura was clearly at the late Innate stage, but the power he unleashed was far beyond that of an ordinary late-stage Innate martial artist.

On the other side, Wang Gang was effortlessly dealing with more than a dozen martial artists. With his Innate strength, confronting these ordinary fighters was as easy as chopping vegetables. He faced no pressure at all.

Lu Yuxi and Zhang Meng had been rescued and were now under Wang Gang’s protection.

“Now, all of you can die.”

A fierce aura gathered in Yang Fan’s hand, while the white light radiating from it seethed with murderous power.
